LED Disco in the Shower

LED Shower Doors Lead to Busted Moves, Butts

The Cromobox LED shower door by Antonio Lupi is designed to change colors across a spectrum in order to promote relaxation. But I sense disaster here.

Seriously—throw in an LED showerhead and a shower radio and you have yourself a dance club in your bathroom. And that, my friends can only lead to cleanliness with concussions and/or a broken coccyx. [Antonio Lupi via Trendir]

What is certain is that if we are designing a luxury bathroom, even in a modern style, then we might think about adding a very special touch to our taps.

The new frontier of design marries form with light and gives rise to the faucets with LED lights, a solution very ATTRACTIVE and extravagant at the same time. We will see off our water in varying shades of color from blue to an eerie quiet red.

This lamp, whose appearance is covered by a lot of balls, is very impressive. The point is that the so-called balls are actually real egg shells. Although egg shells and LEDs seem unrelated, brilliant designer can combine them together into a single product.

LED Garden Bench...Just Because...

Remote-Control LED Garden Bench

While your local home improvement store has a few offerings in the garden bench category, we must turn to the internet to find the truly crazy and unique. (You wouldn’t want the same ho hum garden bench everyone on the block has, would you?) For example, this LED bench is possibly the most sophisticated piece of outdoor furniture you can find.

The remote-controlled bench will illuminate your yard as it rotates through numerous LED colors at your choice of speed (adjust it via the remote without even going outside). It uses DMX-based systems, which allow you to synchronize it with your home sound systems (oh, yes, the party possibilities!). Or, if you don’t want to bewilder innocent folks walking their dogs past your house, just have it stick to one steady color and leave the sound tie-in for special occasions.

The downside is that the bench needs to be plugged in, so plan to park it near an outlet or do some fancy wiring. The other downside is the price tag. It’ll cost you $6,500 to have this fancy bench glowing in your yard.

LED Landscaping Ideas

If you’re looking to light up your garden in an eco-friendly manner, Solar Cynergy’s Solar LED lighting solutions are just the ticket. There’s a lot of solar lighting out there for landscaping, but I happen to like how this company’s lighting solutions look when implemented. For example:

This display is of of course around a pool, but you can imagine how awesome it would look around a curvy garden too. Here’s a more residential landscape idea for a garden path…

Solar Cynergy’s features will win you over too…

Also, even during the day, these lights don’t look obtrusive. They just appear as pretty blocks of color…

An LED Swing...Why not?

When I have a house with land, I'm going to make myself two LED swings, his and hers.

LED & Wooden Furniture

Often loud, the weird LED-integrated furniture does not fit our subtle home décor. However, I am pleasantly appalled to see the ‘Bright Woods’ Collection by Giancarlo Zema. The sultry wooden chairs leave you awe-struck, when they glow in dark. Beautifully crafted LEDs enhance the beautiful designs in a mesmerizing way. The exclusive line is available in a very limited number, so you gotta hurry up to grab them to your living room.
