

Philips is also interested in this area, from another perspective though, as we can see at their latest piece of technology: the Mood Dress. A dress that responds to the emotion of the wearer. Although it’s still a very spacy (not even speaking of the wearability) dress, I think these ’smart’ clothes’ are really a part of the future and I think it will be worn anyhow. Not in the spacy way, but maybe in a more practical way (as we already know the snowboardjackets with integrated headphones and phone system).




Mary Huang’s “Rhyme and Reason” collection integrates technology with soft fabrics like wool. I love how the little lights strengthen the idea of femininity and innocence.
